When Janet's husband passed away several years ago, she found herself living alone, While she could spend time filling out crossword puzzles, she wanted to have someone to talk to to stay socially connected. Janet then connected with Colleen, a Tele Touch volunteer with Acclaim Health.

Al has driven Joanne to Patty's Place nearly every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning since it opened. Here she can spend the day in a warm and supportive community, while Al gets a break from caregiving. On route, they often sing a song that Al made up called “Patty’s Place.”
