DESCRIPTION:The Dementia Information Series is a comprehensive 8-week series designed exclusively for families who are caring for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. \nDuring this free 8-week series\, you will learn to better understand the disease\, how it affects your loved one and how to effectively cope and communicate. You will also be given resources to support you at home and in the community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe will cover a variety of topics throughout the series ranging from an introduction to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to long term care planning\, and caregiver wellness. Topics are presented by subject experts. \nThis free 8-week series runs every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm beginning September 15 and ending on November 3. \nThank you to partners St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton and the Halton Seniors Mental Health Outreach Program.
