M³ – Motivational Monday Meditation

Meditation has numerous benefits for our mind, body and spirit.  Especially during this unprecedented time, connecting with our inner self to manage stress is beneficial for functioning well in our everyday lives.  Some benefits include: Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations, building skills to manage your stress, increasing self-awareness, focusing on the present, reducing negative emotions, and increasing patience and tolerance.

Join us every Monday at 12:30 pm for an empowering and energizing 20-minute meditation. Use mantras and affirmations to power up your week both personally and professionally.

Self-Compassion Circle

The Self-Compassion Circle Series is a safe and dynamic space where like-minded people can find support, guidance and community, a place to gather and practice together. Self- Compassion involves acting the same way towards yourself when you are having a difficult time, fail, or notice something you don’t like about yourself. Instead of just ignoring your pain with a “stiff upper lip” mentality, you stop to tell yourself, “this is difficult right now,” how can I comfort and care for myself at this moment?

The Self-Compassion Circle Series is a set of six sessions guided by Freedom Lee, Wellness Care Manager, and Sara Williamson-Bynoe, Spiritual Care Counsellor.

Next Series:  Fall 2024 – Dates TBD

Time: 12:00pm to 1:30pm

* Although the Wellness Wednesday Series is not a pre-requisite, it is strongly recommended to build knowledge surrounding Individual Wellness.
