Art In The House

Art and yoga, right at home!

Older adults living in selected Halton Community Housing Corporation and co-op communities across Halton can take advantage of free, drop-in art and/or yoga classes year round.  We also host socials featuring performers and refreshments.

It’s a great way to meet your neighbours, have some fun and experience the benefits of movement and artistic expression.

People of all abilities are welcome!

Yoga

Improve your muscle tone, flexibility, balance, agility and overall body strength.  No yoga experience is necessary, as most postures, breathing techniques and meditations can be performed from a chair if required.

Please bring a water bottle, small towel and dress in comfortable clothing.

Art

Celebrate your creativity by making your own art!  Try a variety of different mediums including acrylic paints, water colours, paper mache, oil pastels, markers and more.  No previous art experience required.
