M³ – Motivational Monday Meditation

Meditation has numerous benefits for our mind, body and spirit.  Especially during this unprecedented time, connecting with our inner self to manage stress is beneficial for functioning well in our everyday lives.  Some benefits include: Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations, building skills to manage your stress, increasing self-awareness, focusing on the present, reducing negative emotions, and increasing patience and tolerance.

Join us every Monday at 12:30 pm for an empowering and energizing 20-minute meditation. Use mantras and affirmations to power up your week both personally and professionally.

Wellness Wednesdays Series

Join us for Wellness Wednesdays! A five-week series of wellness events. Each week we will explore different wellness topics to help with coping skills.

Next Series: 2023

Dates: January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, and February 15 of 2023 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

Self-Compassion Circle

The Self-Compassion Circle Series is a safe and dynamic space where like-minded people can find support, guidance and community, a place to gather and practice together. Self- Compassion involves acting the same way towards yourself when you are having a difficult time, fail, or notice something you don’t like about yourself. Instead of just ignoring your pain with a “stiff upper lip” mentality, you stop to tell yourself, “this is difficult right now,” how can I comfort and care for myself at this moment?

The Self-Compassion Circle Series is a set of six sessions guided by Ana Nunes, Caregiver Educator.

Next Series: 2023

Time: 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Dates: Sept 12, Sept 19, Sept 26, Oct 3, Oct 10, and Oct 17, 2023 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm

* Although the Wellness Wednesday Series is not a pre-requisite, it is strongly recommended to build knowledge surrounding Individual Wellness.

Be Well Hub

Join us every third Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

In this drop-in group, together, we will explore different topics pertaining to enhancing our individual and communal wellness.

Facilitator/Peer-led, we will review wellness articles of interest, share stories, experience a live meditation and encourage one another on our parallel wellness journeys. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to grow and encourage others.

Please note: although we will be touching upon personal struggles, our FOCUS for this group is to enhance our individual and communal well-being through exploring different coping strategies and moving from a surviving to a thriving growth mindset. If you require specific individual/ group support with your situation, a referral can be made for you.
