I want my family member to stay, but they don’t want to. How can I convince them?
Different strategies work for different people (and for different stages of the disease), but on the whole, it’s a good idea to talk about staying at JIM’s Suites as a “holiday” for the person checking in. It’s a chance for them to do something fun, on their own, which can be really important – especially for people in the early stages of the disease. Typically once they’ve had a chance to experience JIM’s Suites they are happy to come back!
